These Tie downs secure the bike from the handlbars. We reccommend leading the straps forward matching the angle of the front ski post. After securing you will need to secure the back of the bike with a ratchet strap (not provided). Ensure the front straps lead forward and the rear strap is tied to the pump and leads to the back of the trailer (prevents sliding forward when braking hard).
