The cases are printed from a UV resistant PETG filament
There are many features within the spark plug cases already aimed to benefit the end user on the beach.
The spark plug threads into the lower case and bottoms out against the crush washer of the spark plug, this suspends the electrode above the bottom of the plastic base and therefore protects your spark plug gap
There is numbering located on the spark plug case bases. Allows you to get an accurate understanding of what each cylinder was doing if examined later
There is no formal seal on these cases as of yet. With that being said there is no claim of being water proof whatsoever. They do appear to be fairly water resistant as they have been thrown and dropped in multiple lakes and rivers around california for testing purposes, all testing cases were recovered in this test procedure. Upon further inspection of these test cases the plugs were found to be dry, however they were not left in the water for extraneous amounts of time.
The idea here is you can go to your local parts house on Thursday or Friday and buy new spark plugs for the upcoming weekend. When you take them home, you’ll either set or check the gap and safely store them in your Wininger Racing Team spark plug cases. Whether you’re going camping in the middle of nowhere or to the jet ski races, you know you will have spark plugs that will be not damaged and ready to go when you need them.
As with all our parts – “For Competition use only”
